As the season comes to a close, nearly 2,000 students have had the opportunity to explore Robotics and AI, while hundreds of international contestants gathered in Vietnam for an event of Asian significance.

ENJOY AI Vietnam 2026 marked a new milestone in its development by connecting the three-region competition journey with ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026—the first international Robotics competition of its kind to be held in Vietnam. The event was held under the patronage of the National Innovation Center (NIC), Ministry of Finance, co-organized by OneSpace Education and the Institute for School Design Research under the Ministry of Education and Training, with Hoa Hoc Tro serving as the media partner.

With the domestic season now concluded, Vietnam’s outstanding contestants are preparing for the International Finals in Hengdian, China, in December 2026.

ENJOY AI Vietnam 2026: When a Passion for Technology Transcends Boundaries

Robotics is about much more than moving wheels, robotic arms, or lines of code on a screen. Behind every completed mission lies a process in which students analyze requirements, test different approaches, identify errors, and find solutions. These are the experiences that make ENJOY AI Vietnam 2026 so engaging.

This season, students had the opportunity to apply their programming knowledge, logical thinking, and robot-control skills across seven competition categories. When an approach proved ineffective, they had to make adjustments. When unexpected situations arose, the entire team had to work together to find a solution. And with the competition clock constantly ticking, every decision became a lesson in concentration, adaptability, and teamwork.

From a passion for Robotics to breakthrough performances on the competition floor.

Importantly, these skills were not demonstrated only by teams that achieved top rankings. For many students, independently completing a difficult task, calmly troubleshooting a technical issue, or proactively communicating with teammates was already a meaningful achievement.

That is why the value of ENJOY AI cannot be measured by rankings alone. The competition also provides an environment where students can test their knowledge through hands-on experience, discover their strengths, and identify areas in which they need to improve.

Three Regions—North, Central, and South: Three Meeting Points, One Shared Passion for Technology

ENJOY AI Vietnam was held across Vietnam’s three regions—North, Central, and South—giving students from different localities opportunities to participate in Robotics and AI competitions.

This expansion is reflected in the growing number of students participating in domestic competitions. From just 100 students in the 2023 season, ENJOY AI Vietnam continued to achieve significant growth in 2026, welcoming 1,873 domestic contestants.

These figures reflect the growing reach of a technology competition designed for students. Robotics and AI are no longer confined to specialized classrooms or groups of students who began learning programming at an early age. Through regional qualifying rounds and competitions, more children now have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, put their knowledge to the test, and discover their own potential.

For parents, a competition like ENJOY AI also offers a different perspective on technology education. Instead of focusing solely on the final product, parents can observe how their children think through a new problem, respond when a robot does not operate as expected, and collaborate with teammates to find a solution.

These changes may be difficult to capture through test scores, yet they play an important role in children’s long-term development.

ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026: Vietnam Hosts the International Competition for the First Time, Welcoming Contestants from Seven Countries and Territories

While the three-region competition showcases the breadth of Vietnam’s domestic Robotics movement, ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026 marks another major step forward by bringing an international competition to Vietnam.

For the first time, the international ENJOY AI Asian Open was held in Vietnam, attracting nearly 450 contestants from seven countries and territories: Vietnam, China, Taiwan, Mongolia, Macau, Romania, and Indonesia.

This international gathering offered an experience that differed from competing in a familiar environment. Students had the opportunity to meet young people who shared their passion for technology but came from different education systems, learning environments, and approaches to Robotics.

On a shared competition platform, each team brought its own approach to problem-solving. These differences meant that the experience went beyond completing missions, creating opportunities to observe, learn, exchange ideas, and gain new perspectives.

For Vietnamese students, participating in an international competition alongside peers from around the world, right in their home country, was particularly meaningful. They could begin experiencing a multicultural environment, test their abilities against competitors from different backgrounds, and discover how technological knowledge can become a shared language connecting young people across geographical boundaries.

With nearly 450 international contestants coming together, ENJOY AI Asian Open 2026 did more than add another event to the annual competition calendar. It marked an important milestone, demonstrating Vietnam’s growing role as a meeting point where domestic and international students can connect, explore, and compete in Robotics.

From Competition Experience to Every Student’s Journey of Growth

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Duong, CEO and Founder of OneSpace Education Vietnam, emphasized that the value of each season lies not only in trophies or rankings, but also in the experiences that help students grow through experimentation, problem-solving, and teamwork.

She also highlighted ENJOY AI’s contribution to advancing STEM education, nurturing technological thinking and creativity among younger generations, and supporting the long-term development of a highly skilled workforce for the country.

For students learning Robotics, a hands-on competition creates situations that ordinary classroom settings cannot fully replicate. Students must make decisions within a limited time, coordinate with others, and take responsibility for their choices.

ENJOY AI contestants grow together through real-world Robotics challenges.

These experiences make knowledge more tangible. Programming becomes more than lines of code; logical thinking extends beyond exercises; and teamwork becomes more than dividing tasks among group members. All these skills come together in a mission with a clear objective, where success depends on how effectively team members combine their abilities.

This is also why many families continue to support their children throughout multiple ENJOY AI seasons. Not every student aims to become a champion, and not every achievement is measured by an award. Some parents want their children to gain more hands-on experience. Some students want to challenge themselves after spending time learning Robotics. Others simply want to discover how far they can go.

A meaningful competition should allow students to start from their current skill levels, learn through experience, and continue improving with every attempt. In such an environment, a competition can become part of a student’s broader learning journey rather than an isolated event lasting only a few days.

Looking Ahead to the ENJOY AI 2026 International Finals in Hengdian, China

The ENJOY AI Vietnam 2026 journey does not end with the domestic rounds and Asian Open. In December 2026, the outstanding teams will continue their preparations to represent Vietnam at the ENJOY AI International Finals in Hengdian, China.

The excitement surrounding this next stage also comes from the scale and history of the competition. In 2024, the ENJOY AI International Finals in Shanghai, China, set a Guinness World Record with 28,460 participants, representing 17,036 teams from 34 countries, becoming the world’s largest Robotics competition at that time.

This milestone demonstrates that ENJOY AI is no longer simply a competition for a group of students who share the same interest. It has evolved into an international platform capable of connecting the global Robotics community. From regional rounds to events bringing together thousands of teams, the competition opens up opportunities for students to take on greater challenges and explore technology beyond the boundaries of their own classrooms.

For Vietnam’s national team, Hengdian will mark the beginning of a new chapter. Students will have the opportunity to compete on an international stage, connect with peers from different countries, and put the skills they have developed through learning and competition to the test.

The road ahead will undoubtedly bring new demands, formidable opponents, and unpredictable situations. Yet these very challenges make the preparation journey so exciting. Every hour of practice, every robot adjustment, and every problem the team works together to solve will help equip contestants for the competition ahead.

We wish the Vietnamese team continued curiosity, confidence, and determination as they prepare to take on the international stage at their very best!

Celebrating the Journey So Far and Looking Forward to New Horizons
