1. HKICO International Informatics Olympiad

– Format: Online or Offline The HKICO International Informatics Olympiad was established and organized by the Olympic Champion Education Center Hong Kong with the goal of providing technology courses and providing a level playing field. Program for students in grades 2 through 12 in high school. The challenge allows young people to develop problem-solving skills, Science and Technology concepts, creative freedom, and to realize their full potential.

2. Bebras Algorithmic Thinking Challenge

– Format: Online

The Bebras Algorithmic Thinking Challenge is a playground for students all over the country that is globally standardized. Bebras drew nearly 2,800,000 contestants from around 60 nations in 2018, making it the world’s most prominent after-school activity in technology education for students. You will go through three rounds of fascinating challenges that have been cleverly integrated from simple life lessons. You must qualify in each round to progress to the next round.

3. Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship

– Time: Every year in May

– Format: Offline

The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship is the world’s biggest competition for Office Informatics skills, featuring three disciplines: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. The contest is not only an interesting space for students aged 13 to 22 who are passionate about conquering technology and want to develop comprehensive skills for future work, but it also promotes the movement of learning computer science according to international standards beginning in the classroom.

4. Young Informatics

– Time: Every year from June to August

– Format: Offline

Young Informatics is a national competition for students in primary, middle, and high school. Throughout its 28-year history, the competition has always aimed to promote contestants’ creativity, knowledge, and skills in solving real-world issues.

The contest has created an environment in which young people can study and improve their digital capabilities while also discovering information technology talents in schools, thereby contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for national digital transformation and national development.

5. Coding Olympics Vietnam

– Time:

+ National final: November 20-30

+ Regional final: end of December

– Format: Online

Coding Olympics is a special event for teenagers (ages 8 to 14) who are passionate about coding. This is an excellent chance for you to discover and develop your skills in this demanding field. The competition will include exercises and challenges of varying difficulty to assist contestants in learning and developing their abilities. Candidates who perform well at Coding Olympics Vietnam will be given the chance to compete in the Regional Coding Olympics.

6. Coding Olympics Regional Cup

Regional Cup is an annual programming contest for middle and high school students nationwide, organized by iGroup MangoSTEEMS and the Young Pioneers & Children’s Newspaper. The competition creates a useful and meaningful arena that not only helps young people improve their knowledge, computer programming skills, and logical thinking, but also allows them to practice and apply the knowledge they have learned, ake products and solve real-world issues to become the next generation of smart citizens.

7. SEACSO Southeast Asian Computer Science Olympiad

– Time:

+ National round: Mid-November

+ International round: 25-28/2

– Exam format:

+ The national round takes place online on the platform of the international organizers

+ The international round will be held in East Kalimantan, Indonesia in 2023. (Each year in 1 country in Southeast Asia) SEACSO is an exam that is part of a group of international examinations in Southeast Asia that include Mathematics, English, Science, and Informatics and are administered by the Global League of Winners, a non-profit organization based in the Philippines. The competition provides a chance for students in kindergarten through high school to improve their understanding, hone their computer skills, and learn about coding. Furthermore, the group hopes to promote Southeast Asian tourism to countries all over the world through SEACSO.
