This summer, CODEQUEST 2025 – the CodeCombat International Programming Finals – will take place in Yinchuan, China. More than just an elite coding competition, this event is a unique summer camp experience combining technology, artificial intelligence, and cultural exploration. OneSpace is proud to be the official organizer and strategic partner of CodeCombat Asia in Vietnam, bringing an incredible opportunity for young Vietnamese talents to compete on an international stage.
1. About CODEQUEST 2025
CODEQUEST 2025 is a programming competition for students from grades 5 to 11 worldwide, where participants can showcase their skills, develop logical thinking, and enhance their technological expertise. This event not only helps students master programming languages but also fosters problem-solving abilities and teamwork in a globally competitive environment.
Beyond the coding challenges, CODEQUEST 2025 features an international summer camp, providing hands-on experiences in culture, history, and technology. This is a valuable opportunity for students to connect with peers from around the world and broaden their perspectives.
2. Who Can Participate?
CODEQUEST 2025 is open to students from grades 5 to 11 who have a passion for programming and technology. Prior programming experience is not required, but basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or JavaScript is recommended to ensure a productive competition experience.
3. Program Highlights
a. CODEQUEST 2025 Coding Competitions
The competition consists of four main categories:
- AI HackStack Global Final: A team-based (4 members) challenge lasting 3 hours, where teams tackle AI and coding challenges.
- Code Quest Global Final: A 1-hour individual multiplayer coding battle.
- Creative with AI Challenge: A team-based (minimum 4 members) challenge, where participants complete an AI creative project within 6 hours.
- TED English Talk Show: An individual competition focusing on creative topics and presentations in English.
Each competition includes a structured award system with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals, as well as globally recognized certificates, affirming participants’ talents on the international stage.
b. Summer Camp Activities & Cultural Exploration
Beyond the programming competitions, the event includes engaging extracurricular activities:
- Historical Site Tours: Explore the 30,000-year-old Helan Mountain Rock Art and the 1,000-year-old Western Xia Imperial Tombs.
- Film Industry Experience: Visit the Zhenbeipu Western Film Studio, famous for films like A Chinese Odyssey and Red Sorghum.
- Yellow River Discovery: Tour a branch of the Yellow River, China’s mother river, and visit the largest White Mosque in Western China.
- Tengger Desert Adventure: Engage in orienteering, mountain climbing, sand dune activities, survival challenges, and an unforgettable bonfire night.

- July 29: Cruize Carnivals in Tengger Desert & Bonfire BBQ
- July 30: Closing Ceremony & Departure
4. Date & Location
- Date: July 24 – July 30, 2025
- Location: Yinchuan, Ningxia Province, Northwestern China. Also known as the “Silver River,” Yinchuan is home to the Yellow River, ancient dynastic relics, a thriving film industry, vast deserts, and famous beef cuisine.
- Weather: Cool and dry in late July, ideal for outdoor experiences.
5. Awards & Certifications
- All participants receive globally recognized certificates.
- Outstanding contestants will be awarded Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.
- Top performers will have opportunities to join future international programming competitions and events.
6. Participation Fee
- Students: $1,200 per student (includes 6-night hotel stay, local transportation, meals, competition fees, insurance, sightseeing tickets, awards, and professional services). Airfare or train tickets to Yinchuan are not included.
- Accompanying Parents: $900 per person.
7. Travel Information
Participants can reach Yinchuan via:
- Air Travel: Direct flights to Yinchuan Hedong International Airport or connecting flights through Beijing.
- Air + Train: Fly to Xi’an or Lanzhou, then take a train to Yinchuan (2.5 – 3.5 hours).
