Community Space: Code4Change 

OneSpace’s Journey to Bring Technology Education Closer to the Community

In today’s era of rapid technological advancement, helping children become familiar with digital and programming skills at an early age is no longer optional – it has become essential. However, not every child has access to modern technology. That is why OneSpace has launched the community program “Community Space: Code4Change” – a journey to make technology education free and accessible for Vietnamese youth.

Technology Education: A Solid Foundation for Children’s Future

OneSpace believes that every child deserves access to modern technology education, regardless of their background. By equipping children with essential digital skills, they can not only use the Internet smartly, safely, and effectively, but also create digital products, solve problems, and generate creative content – vital 21st-century skills.

The Community Space: Code4Change program is OneSpace’s annual CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiative, designed to bring modern programming and technology classes closer to the community, especially students aged 7 to 15 in schools, educational institutions, and child development centers.

Free Courses – Opening the Door to Technology

A highlight of the program is that all classes are completely free, with a streamlined curriculum designed for children to easily grasp. Two core activities currently offered under Code4Change include:

  • CodeCombat (Python): A fun introduction to coding through interactive games. Instead of dry theory, students take on characters, complete programming challenges, and learn Python – one of the world’s most popular programming languages.
  • Roblox Studio: Beyond playing games, children learn to code, design, and develop their own 3D games on Roblox. This course nurtures logical thinking, digital creativity, and design skills.

These classes are not only a safe technology playground but also a place to ignite children’s passion for coding and digital innovation, reaching thousands of students across Vietnam.

Partnership with Panasonic Risupia Vietnam – For a Sustainable Tech Generation

Since summer 2023, OneSpace has been running the Code4Change journey in collaboration with Panasonic Risupia Vietnam. This initiative not only provides free technology learning opportunities but also spreads positive messages about sustainable education, inspiring children to embrace technology nationwide.

Through the Code4Change program, OneSpace aims to expand partnerships with educational organizations, businesses, child development centers, and schools across Vietnam.
